When you participate in group weight loss, it provides a great help in 2 ways:
- Personal Accountability. You have a person or persons to whom you’re accountable for your weight loss goals.
- Moral Support. Those same person/persons cheer you on and give you motivation during hard times.
They provide a peer group going through what you’re going through. They understand, they support, and they allow you to help “coach” them for great bonds and the drive to establish healthy new habits. Plus, sometimes the recipes you share are pretty awesome!
